Term dates, dances, and other social activities

Now that the end of restrictions is in sight, the Committee has met to plan events for the coming year. All dates will have to be treated as provisional until we have confirmation that dancing is permitted, which will not be before 21st June 2021, but halls and bands have been booked and we are working on the details of our planned events.

Over the past year we have been getting together every other week on Zoom to chat, listen to music, dance and take part in light-hearted quizzes. We even had a virtual Burns’ Night and a ceilidh! We are now on our usual Summer break, but there is an additional Zoom “meeting” in August to prepare us for the start of the new dancing season in September 2021, which we hope will be back to normal at Wistaston Memorial Hall.
