Welcome to Nantwich & District Scottish Society
URGENT MESSAGE – our class on Monday 5th January 2026 is CANCELLED, owing to bad weather and hazardous road conditions
Happy New Year, everyone! Our new term starts in January and we have a full programme planned for the coming months. Why not come along and have a go? Your first two classes are free. Check the Diary Page for dates for the rest of the year.
There’s much more to us than Scottish Country Dancing. We are a Society that welcomes all who are interested in the songs, dances, traditions and culture of Scotland. We meet for dancing on Monday evenings from September through to May and arrange a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a Traditional Burns’ Night, Countryside walks, informal lunches and afternoon teas, slide-shows, talks and quizzes.
Our President and Vice President

Sylvia Sowerby, President, and Kim Kolodziejczyk, Vice-President. Meet the rest of our Committee on the Who’s Who page.
Do take a tour of our website and see what we do. Our meeting place is Wistaston Memorial Hall.
