Welcome to Nantwich & District Scottish Society

We are ‘meeting’ on-line for the time being
Details on our Diary Page

Owing to the ongoing Coronavirus situation we are unable to meet for dancing until further notice. Further information available on our Newsletters Page. Please see our Diary Page for details of events planned, provisional or cancelled.

Our Spring 2021 Newsletter was mailed to all members on 22 March. You can download a copy from our Newsletters Library.

As we have not been able to meet in person, our Christmas Charity Raffles could not take place. Instead, we decided to support Nantwich Food Bank. The Virgin Money donation page remained open to the end of February 2021. In that time our members raised a total of £728.95 (including Gift Aid) – well done, everyone!

There’s more to us than Scottish Country Dancing. We are a Society that welcomes all who are interested in the songs, dances, traditions and culture of Scotland. We meet for dancing on Monday evenings from September through to May and arrange a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a Traditional Burns’ Night, Countryside walks, informal lunches and afternoon teas, slide-shows, talks and quizzes.
