Welcome to Nantwich & District Scottish Society

See our Diary Page for details of planned events

Dancing started again at Wistaston Memorial Hall on Monday 6th September 2021. The class runs from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. and we are taking it gently until we return to “dance fitness”.

Our Summer 2021 Newsletter (“Back to Dancing”) was mailed to all members on 13 August 2021. You can download a copy from our Newsletters Library. Keep an eye on our Diary page for what’s on.

Our Christmas Charity effort this year will again be Nantwich Food Bank who continue to provide invaluable support to people in need in our area. To contribute, please visit our Just Giving page. This is a secure on-line donation platform – your donation goes direct to the charity; you can add Gift Aid and/or make your donation anonymous if you wish. Our four Christmas Mini-Raffles start on Mon 22 November – small prizes welcome, all proceeds to our charity.

There’s more to us than Scottish Country Dancing. We are a Society that welcomes all who are interested in the songs, dances, traditions and culture of Scotland. We meet for dancing on Monday evenings from September through to May and arrange a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a Traditional Burns’ Night, Countryside walks, informal lunches and afternoon teas, slide-shows, talks and quizzes.
