Welcome to Nantwich & District Scottish Society

We return to dancing on Monday 9th January for our New Year Ceilidh! Please bring a wrapped raffle prize and a small amount of ‘nibbles’ to share at the break. Please see our Diary Page for details of dates and events for the remainder of the 2022-23 season.

We raised £136 from our Christmas Charity Raffles – four lucky members won a hamper and we rounded up the raffle proceeds to £150 and donated this to Nantwich Food Bank, a very worthwhile cause, supporting local people in need. If you wish to add your own donation you can do so via our Just Giving page – the money goes direct to the Charity.

There’s more to us than Scottish Country Dancing. We are a Society that welcomes all who are interested in the songs, dances, traditions and culture of Scotland. We meet for dancing on Monday evenings from September through to May and arrange a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a Traditional Burns’ Night, Countryside walks, informal lunches and afternoon teas, slide-shows, talks and quizzes.
