Welcome to Nantwich & District Scottish Society
Owing to the ongoing Coronavirus situation we are unable to meet for dancing until further notice. Further information available on our Newsletters Page. Please see our Diary Page for details of events planned, provisional or cancelled.
It’s going to be some time before we can meet again, which means our customary Christmas Raffles and Hamper Draw cannot take place. The money we raise is always donated to a local charity. This year, we have decided to support Nantwich Food Bank and we suggest members donate whatever they would have spent on raffle tickets or hamper goodies. We have set up a donation page – here’s the link.
There’s more to us than Scottish Country Dancing. We are a Society that welcomes all who are interested in the songs, dances, traditions and culture of Scotland. We meet for dancing on Monday evenings from September through to May and arrange a wide range of social events throughout the year, including a Traditional Burns’ Night, Countryside walks, informal lunches and afternoon teas, slide-shows, talks and quizzes.
